DC Department of Parks and Recreation hosts spring break events

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Spring break has officially descended upon the District, and officials are reminding students and families of events all week long.

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DCDPR) has events all week, including skating, lifeguard training and more.

The department is closed on Thursday for DC Emancipation Day.
