Increasing gun violence in DC sparks concerns after 5-year-old injured in triple shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Neighbors are noticing an uptick in gun violence after Tuesday night’s triple shooting that injured a 5-year-old child.

The triple shooting happened in the 400 block of N Street NW. It was one of two separate shootings in D.C. just minutes apart.

Officers found two men shot in a courtyard along N Street. A 5-year-old boy was also shot but was taken to the hospital by a parent. All three are expected to be OK…
