Prince George’s County shooting spree survivor recounts terrifying ordeal

RIVERDALE, Md. — Prince George’s County Police continue to investigate Friday’s shooting spree across the county; as witnesses and victims continue to process what happened.

David Arias Paz says he was just five minutes from home when he was involved in a crash with the suspect in Friday’s shooting spree. Arias Paz says the suspect sideswiped him before flipping at 67th and Patterson in Riverdale. He says after the suspect crawled out of the vehicle, he continued shooting.

“I walk up to the car and I’m about to ask if he’s okay. I hear a shot go off. I’m startled a little bit. Then I see the AR-15 and him crawling out the window,” said David Arias Paz. “Not sure how much a magazine holds, but hear shots until he ran out of ammo.”…
