WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was charged Thursday in connection with a January shooting in Northwest D.C. that left five people hurt.
According to police, on Jan. 22 at 5:38 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 5900 block of 16th St. NW.

At the scene, officers located a woman, two girls and two boys suffering from gunshot wounds. They were all taken to the hospital, conscious and breathing, with non-life-threatening injuries.
