The wait is over for Montgomery County residents eager to hit the pools as the weather heats up, with the outdoor pool preseason set to begin at noon today.
All seven Montgomery County Recreation outdoor pools, including the Long Branch and MLK pools in Silver Spring and the Sergeant Hector I. Ayala Wheaton/Glenmont pool in Wheaton, will be open on weekends, weather permitting, from noon to 6 p.m. during the summer preseason, which runs from May 23 to June 19.
The pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. on July 3 and 4.
