Man critically injured in Northeast DC stabbing; suspect fled in gray Mazda, police say

WASHINGTON (7News) — Police are investigating a stabbing that left a man critically injured Sunday afternoon in Northeast Washington, D.C.

Around 4:33 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a report of an assault in the 3300 block of Ames Street NE in the River Terrace neighborhood. Police said that when officers arrived, they found the victim, who was not conscious but was breathing and suffering from stab wounds.
