RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Students at West Riviera Elementary will return to a transformed campus when the new school year begins on Aug. 10.
The School District of Palm Beach County gave CBS12 a first look inside the newly modernized West Riviera Elementary, located at 1057 W. Sixth St. in Riviera Beach. The campus replaces a school that had served the community since 1966 and is designed to better support the district’s youngest learners.
Beginning this school year, West Riviera Elementary will serve students in pre-kindergarten through second grade. Third- through fifth-grade students will attend Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary as part of the district’s new grade-level configuration…
