Clerk Mike Caruso, C.P.A., is urging people not to leave money on the table. “I encourage residents to check our website to see if any of the money we are holding belongs to you,” Caruso said. “We’re here to help you reclaim what is rightfully yours.”
Anyone who thinks they might be owed money can search by name or case number at www.mypalmbeachclerk.com/unclaimed. The website spells out claim instructions, and officials stress that no third-party company is needed to file a claim — the process can be handled directly through the Clerk’s office at no extra cost.
The window to act isn’t open-ended. The deadline for submitting a claim is September 1, 2026, so anyone who thinks they’re due money is encouraged to check the list soon…
