GREENACRES, Fla. (CBS12) — New details have emerged regarding Thursday’s early morning crash between a Palm Beach County school bus and a pickup truck in Greenacres.
According to an official crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division, the collision occurred when the school bus attempted a left turn. Traveling westbound on Lantana Road, the bus attempted to turn south onto Pine Needle Lane South, failing to yield and violating the right-of-way of an oncoming eastbound Ford F-150 driven by a 20-year-old Lake Worth man.
During the crash, the driver’s side of the Ford F-150 sideswiped the front of the school bus. Both vehicles were deflected southwest and came to rest on the median bullnose of Pine Needle Lane South, per deputies…
