16 Handles, a self-serve frozen dessert chain, is getting ready to open a new location in Wellington at 1383 S State Road 7, Suite 101.
The new location will be operated by franchise owner Benjamin Goldberg, according to Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation records. Goldberg and his wife, Lindsay Hemstreet Goldberg, also have locations in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. They have not announced an opening date for their third location in Wellington.
Founded in 2008, 16 Handles opened as New York City’s first self-serve frozen dessert shop. Founder Solomon Choi opened the first location in the East Village, focusing on creating an inclusive, experience-focused brand.
