At the Lantana Public Library, books can be checked out for two weeks.

If it’s a very long book, or you’re a very slow reader, you can renew it for another two weeks. You can renew it up to five times, if no one else is waiting for it.

And for two weeks in July, you could have checked out an actual human being…
