Just as the New Times covered the frozen yogurt craze sweeping South Florida like a snowstorm, another spot is opening. Popular Hamptons-based frozen yogurt shop BuddhaBerry is heading south.
The company says its third storefront will open September 30 at CityPlace in West Palm Beach – also its first location outside New York. Expect a self-serve yogurt bar, a long list of toppings, and enough other sweets to satisfy any sweet tooth.
From Sag Harbor to South Florida
BuddhaBerry began in Sag Harbor in 2014. Founder Nancy Passaretti sold the business to a group of friends in 2022, and the new owners opened a second shop in Southampton two years later.
Co-owner Natalie Jones told Southforker that the group wanted to keep a place their families had grown attached to, and the West Palm Beach location is the first test of whether that appeal travels beyond the Hamptons…
