Deerfield Beach’s J’s Kitchen Closing for Good After 4th Shutdown for Rodent Violations

J’S Kitchen in Deerfield Beach has faced repeated closures due to severe health and safety violations, such as extensive rodent infestations. The owner has decided to call it quits after struggling to address the rodent issues.

J’S Kitchen recently faced its fourth shutdown due to health violations, notably including the discovery of over 100 rodent droppings.

The owner, who has previously clashed with the media over health violations and other issues, announced the restaurant’s permanent closure, admitting defeat in resolving the persistent rodent problems.

Local 10 News reported that a recent inspection at J’S Kitchen unearthed multiple violations, compelling the owner to cease operations permanently.

“I am going to quit,” he stated in an interview with Local 10 News. “I am closing down…This problem I cannot solve.”

High-priority violations at J’S Kitchen, a site of frequent inspections, were notably disturbing. Inspectors found rodent droppings throughout the kitchen, including on shelves, near the cookline, and in the ware washing area.
