In August of 2023, William Lowe stood in a South Florida court and entered a not-guilty plea to the charges he faced. He was ordered to be held without bond.
Following the hearing, Lowe’s attorney, Marc Shiner, spoke to WPTV. He described his client as a “decorated war veteran” with no criminal record. “The man who we know is not the man who is accused in the police report,” Shriner added regarding the successful 78-year-old business owner.
