Celebrity chef and reality television star Guy Fieri has his Lake Worth Beach home up for sale at more than double the price he paid in 2021 but with multiple upgrades.
Fieri, the spiky-haired star of myriad cooking shows, bought the waterfront house on secluded Bella Vista Avenue for $3.9 million in March 2021. It is listed fully furnished for sale at $8.5 million.
The listing doesn’t mean Fieri is abandoning Palm Beach County. He bought a home on Singer Island in June for $7.3 million.
But some Lake Worth Beach residents had hoped Fieri would become a resident of the funky beach town and open a restaurant.
“He’s a great guy and it’s a bonus to have a celebrity in the area because it gives credence and credibility to Lake Worth Beach,” said Brian Gleason, a Realtor and lifelong resident of the town affectionately nicknamed L-Dub. “That type of thing gives people a positive idea about opening businesses in the area.”
