PBSO launches homicide investigation into Lake Park shooting that left man dead

LAKE PARK — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has launched a homicide investigation into a fatal shooting in Lake Park.

The agency did not immediately identify the man who died Thursday, Feb. 1, on the 100 block of Bayberry Drive, a residential street just east of U.S. 1 and north of Silver Beach Road.

Deputies responded to a call shortly before 4:30 p.m. and found the man with gunshot wounds. Paramedics took him to a hospital in critical condition.

The man died that night, PBSO said. It has not identified a motive or a person of interest.
