WEST PALM BEACH — Mary Brandon Park sits at 700 Maddock Street in West Palm Beach, and is bordered to the south and west by the city’s new golf course, The Park West Palm. It is bordered by homes to the north and Forest Hill High School is nearby.
The park has a dog park to accommodate small dogs and large dogs, those heavier than 25 lbs, in separate play areas. Rules require the dogs be current on rabies vaccinations and aggressive dogs are to be removed immediately by their owners.
A baseball field maintained by the city’s parks department is on the southern side of the park. A two-goal concrete basketball court is near the field. The park has play structures for children just south of the parking lot and shade sails provide an oasis from the South Florida heat in summer. And restrooms are on property.
Park hours are sunrise to sunset according to posted signage.
