When a team is as consistently good as the Houston Astros have been for the past seven years, a lot of eyes are placed upon them.
This brings more opportunity from a business sense than if they were routinely at the bottom of the league.
For a while, the Astros were at the bottom of the league, undergoing an extensive rebuild that stripped just about everything down to restart fresh.
They’ve come out on the other side maybe even better than they imagined, having built a modern dynasty that’s seen them hoist two World Series trophies, four AL pennants, and make an American League record seven consecutive ALCS appearances.
Houston’s front office has done a good job of navigating this offseason to give themselves another shot at winning their third championship.
As the team begins to report for Spring Training, the stadium they’ll be playing at in West Palm Beach, Florida will now have a new name.
According to Matt Young of The Houston Chronicle , it will now be called Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches after both the Astros and Washington Nationals , who they share the stadium with, reached a deal with Hip Hop mogul Travis Scott and his Cacti Hard Seltzer brand.
