PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office recently honored the county’s oldest resident. Jane Smith, who spent her 106th birthday in Italy this summer, recently came back to South Florida. Upon arrival, sheriff’s deputies surprised her with 106 roses, donated by the Wellington Florist, to celebrate her birthday, her return and to thank her for her help with various community programs. Smith has also participated in the sheriff’s office’s “Sheriff For A Day” program.
