Florida California Kitchen Restaurant Shut Down After State Inspection

In the fall of 2021, the food website Eat This Not That gathered data to determine which pizza chains were the most popular in each state. Florida’s favorite was determined to be Little Caesar’s. However, Florida has plenty of chains to choose from. However, a store of one chain, a California Kitchen in Wellington, was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection.

About California Kitchen: This chain began in Beverly Hills in the 1980s. It prides itself on using fresh, seasonal ingredients and for being the first chain to introduce innovative crusts. It has grown to have 200 restaurants worldwide, 10 of which are in Florida.

Patrons at the location in question located at 10300 W Forest Hill Boulevard 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Experiences seem to be mixed. For example, Carol wrote:

“First time. Everything was great. I had the tortilla soup and buffalo chicken salad. My son had the veggie pizza and salad. He said it was the best veggie pizza ever. I am booking our ladies’ luncheon for next month.”
