PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The fourth suspect in an organized theft ring that targeted UPS packages containing cell phones and other electronic devices has turned himself in.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Samuel Drummond turned himself into detectives on Wednesday. Drummond was the owner of GoalMind Studios, a recording studio and cell phone repair shop in Lantana, that authorities found as operating as a front for selling stolen merchandise.
Previous reports say PBSO’s investigation began in October after UPS representatives reached out to them, claiming that T-Mobile had recognized they were losing thousands of dollars from two Lake Worth locations, which began in July 2024. The losses amounted to over $504,000…
