A routine visit to a 7-Eleven in Boca Raton turned into a life-changing moment for Mykel Lane. The 37-year-old won a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery, CBS12 reported on Wednesday. Lane won the jackpot playing the $15,000,000 Gold Rush Multiplier scratch-off game, which he bought at the 7-Eleven located at 20385 State Road 7.

The Florida Lottery’s odds for winning a prize in the game are 1-in-2.60. Lane won the $1 million prize on his first try. The 7-Eleven store also benefited from the sale, receiving a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket, WFLA reported.
