Hotel Cancels Bride’s Room Block Reservation Before Wedding—So Dad Steps In

Planning a wedding isn’t for the faint hearted, as one bride unfortunately discovered when the entire block of hotel rooms reserved for her guests was allegedly cancelled just two days before the ceremony.

Emily Campeas, 30, and her partner Jordan Arzi, 31 planned a destination wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, which took months of organizing. The couple, who live in Austin, Texas, invited 300 guests to celebrate, and they reserved a block of 30 rooms in the Marriott West Palm Beach hotel almost a year prior.

But just two days before the wedding, Campeas was informed by the Marriott that the hotel reservations were cancelled because of a “glitch in their system,” which caused an overbooking…
