Boy, 5, dies after drinking apple juice allegedly laced with meth as mom charged for his death

A Florida mother has been charged in connection with the death of her five-year-old son, who died after drinking apple juice that contained methamphetamine, according to a police affidavit.

Heather Opsincs, 37, was arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter last week following the boy’s death.

Police were called to a hotel in the 2400 block of Beach Court, Riviera Beach, last Sunday following reports the boy was not breathing. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he later died…
