Repeat offender accused of claiming mom held hostage, threatens another call for cash

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is accused of making a false 911 call reporting a hostage situation in Lake Worth, prompting 19 units to respond to his parent’s house.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said dispatch received a 911 call on February 5 at 3:30 a.m., Nicholas Muscardin, 31, alleging that his mother was being held hostage by her husband.
