Nightly Closures on Beeline Highway in Palm Beach Gardens for Bridge Demolition

Driving through Palm Beach Gardens at night is about to get a little trickier for commuters. According to a notice from the City of Palm Beach Gardens, starting tomorrow, April 13, and continuing through to Friday, April 18, a portion of Beeline Highway will be off-limits nightly. The shutdown is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) moves in to demolish the Florida’s Turnpike bridge safely.

Caught in the middle of all this, drivers who typically use this stretch of road from just north of Haverhill Road to just south of North Jog Road will need to seek alternate routes. FDOT assures the public that the nightly closure is a necessary step to ensure everyone’s safety while the demolition proceedings are underway. Motorists should be aware that detours will be in effect, and plan their evening routes accordingly…
