Animal abuse suspect accused of licking horse’s eyeballs

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman is facing multiple charges after authorities discovered a herd of sick and emaciated horses on her property, including one that had already died from alleged neglect.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said that they got a complaint from Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control regarding sick and emaciated horses on March 1, 2024.

According to the complaint, one of the sick horses had already died. A licensed veterinarian had reportedly previously examined the horses on February 23, 2024, and reported finding one severely emaciated horse in critical condition…
