PBSO settles excessive-force lawsuit for $5.5 million after man was tasered, left paralyzed

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office paid $5.5 million in July 2024 to settle an “excessive force” lawsuit filed by a West Palm Beach-area man who sustained crippling injuries after allegedly being tasered while on top of a roof.
