Palm Beach Gardens families, mark your calendars—summer fun is about to begin! The City of Palm Beach Gardens Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate the Grand Opening of the newly renovated Burns Road Community Center (BRCC) on Saturday, May 31, from 2:45 to 6 p.m. at 4404 Burns Road.
The celebration kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:45 p.m., officially unveiling the center’s upgrades just in time for summer. From there, the fun continues with face painting, inflatables, toddler story time, food trucks, and a Camp Gardens open house where families can learn about upcoming summer programs. Plus, attendees can score some exciting giveaway items throughout the event.
And there’s even more good news for young residents—the Burns Road playground is officially reopened, after undergoing extensive renovations since January. The redesigned play area now boasts two towering 30-foot structures, artificial turf, and shade sails to help keep things cool. Safety and accessibility have also been top of mind, with a new fence, redesigned entrances away from traffic, and a “tot lot” specifically for children ages 6 months to 23 months.
