DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12 News) — The cheers could be heard echoing across Delray Beach from the Warren restaurant just after noon on Saturday, as family and friends of Coco Gauff watched her win her first ever French Open Championship with a 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4 win over top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka.
The second-ranked Gauff won her second major trophy after the 2023 U.S Open, and ran up into the stands to hug her Mom and Dad, as Gauff’s Grandmother and Aunt watched on TV with proud members of the Delray Beach community…
