Palm Beach County Libraries Offer Free Lunches for Kids Through Summer Nutrition Program

The Palm Beach County Library System is once again proving its value as a cornerstone of community welfare, not just with books but with nutritional assistance for kids. This summer, children 18 and under can access free lunches at all 18 library branches, provided through a collaboration with the School District of Palm Beach County. Starting June 3 and continuing through July 25, these meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day, with additional snacks available from 2 to 4 p.m., according to the county’s official announcement.

However, all meals must be eaten on-site within the library’s premises, ensuring children stay on location to finish their food. This rule enforces a simple level of order to the proceedings. Make a note of the scheduled dates when service will not be available, which include June 19, July 3, and July 4. For ease of access, the library’s website lists all participating locations for any family looking to take advantage of the program.
