‘Don’t touch me!’ Uber driver attacked over cigarette dispute

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — An Uber ride turned bloody in Boynton Beach after a passenger smoking a cigarette allegedly attacked the driver, claiming to be “in the cartel.”

Around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) say they were alerted to an assault and burglary on an Uber driver the night prior.
