WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A text message sent minutes before gunfire tore through a West Palm Beach home, “I gotta mission rn ,” helped unravel a digital trail that now has two men facing attempted murder in a May 7 drive-by shooting.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said the evidence includes surveillance footage, cell phone data, social media posts, and incriminating text messages sent just minutes before the shooting.
Just before 11 p.m., a family’s home off Orland Avenue in West Palm Beach was struck by more than a dozen bullets.
