A fatal accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Boca Raton, claiming the life of a motorcyclist after a collision with an SUV. The Boca Raton Police Services Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident that unfolded around 1:30 p.m. on the 2100 block of North Dixie Highway, as reported by TAPinto.
According to the police, Navin Pungoti, the 51-year-old motorcyclist, was riding a Yiben YB200T motorcycle northbound when he struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee that the shopping plaza was attempting to turn left out of. Unfortunately, Pungoti was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Jeep, identified only as a 16-year-old, did not sustain injuries in the crash.
