As the nation gears up to celebrate Independence Day, the City of West Palm Beach has announced office closures for the holiday. According to the city’s official website, West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will shut their doors on Friday, July 4 to commemorate America’s 249th birthday.
Despite the closures, the city will not leave residents in a lurch, as regular trash and garbage pickup services will continue without interruption. The Mandel Public Library plans to resume its regular schedule starting July 5 at 9:30 a.m. City Hall and the Grassy Waters Preserve are set to reopen the following Monday, July 7, at 8 a.m.
The City of West Palm Beach is inviting the community to partake in the 4th on Flagler celebration along the city’s scenic waterfront.
