Rival gang gunfire in Belle Glade leaves 104 shell casings and one arrested

Belle Glade, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies uncovered a web of gunfire tied to a rivalry between local gangs, leaving behind over a hundred of spent shell casings in Belle Glade and evidence pointing to an alleged gang member.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said that the first round of gunfire was detected at 9:46 p.m. near 749 SW Ave C on March 13. When deputies and detectives responded to the scene, they reported finding more crime scenes, including 749 SW Ave C Apt 2 and the 700 block of SW Ave C Place.

PBSO said that they recovered around 104 spent shell casings of various calibers from the scene…
