Lantana, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies seek information on a Thursday night pedestrian hit-and-run on Ridge Road that left a 21-year-old seriously injured.
According to traffic investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Lake Worth Beach man was walking northbound in the southbound lane in front of 827 Ridge Road, even though a sidewalk was provided.
For unknown reasons, at around 11:30 p.m., a passing driver failed to observe him and crashed into him, throwing him off the road and onto the grass shoulder and sidewalk before fleeing the scene…
