Homeless man and loyal dog targeted in violent late-night robbery in Lake Park

LAKE PARK, Fla. (CBS12) — A 29-year-old man is accused of robbing and threatening to kill a homeless man while kicking and punching his dog.

At midnight on Sunday, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) responded to 270 North Congress Avenue in the city of Lake Park for reports of robbery.

Dispatchers told deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) that a homeless man had called to report that he had been attacked by an unknown shirtless man, later identified as 29-year-old Colin Gregory Sellars, who kicked his dog and stole his backpack…
