PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A major road closure is officially on the calendar. CSX will begin railroad construction on Friday august 1 at 8 p.m. forcing a lengthy and inconvenient detour for up to 70,000 drivers.
Officials promised to provide residents with a three weeks notice prior to the closure and that countdown has begun.
