Noted scientist pays $8M for Palm Beach Biltmore condo in pair of related sales

A noted scientist has paid a recorded $8 million for a two-bedroom condominium with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway in the landmarked Palm Beach Biltmore.

Molecular biologist and medical biophysical chemist Paul Schimmel bought the renovated condominium, No. 510, the deed for the off-market sale shows. The condo slices through the center portion of the building at 150 Bradley Place on Palm Beach’s near North End.

The condo has 2,368 square feet, according to property records. Based on that measurement, Schimmel paid $3,378 per square foot…
