FORT PIERCE – A Hobe Sound man was apprehended by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s deputies on Aug. 4 and charged with drug possession after the man attempted to flee during a traffic stop, according to sheriff’s office reports.
Deputies stopped Reginald Straughter, 33, of Hobe Sound on Aug. 4 at Avenue Q in Fort Pierce. Straughter was the driver and sole occupant of the car, according to sheriff’s office reports.
Straughter fled the scene on foot, discarding about 129 grams of crack cocaine, before he was taken into custody, according to reports…
