Deputies discover vet tech’s 6 starving horses in manure-filled pens in Loxahatchee

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla (CBS12) — Deputies found six underweight horses living in filth in a Loxahatchee residence, resulting in the arrest of their caretaker, a veterinary technician at a horse clinic.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said that deputies responded to a welfare check on several horses at a residence on 77th Place North on Tuesday.
