PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — It’s the first day of school for students across Palm Beach County and thanks to a special store just for teachers, classrooms are stocked and ready with essential supplies. CBS12 News teamed up with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County for our Stuff the Bus campaign.
Thousands of teachers will walk through the Red Apple Supplies store, run by the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, to get everything they need for the first day of school. At checkout, teachers leave with anywhere from $300 to $500 worth of supplies.
Red Apple Supplies serves just under 100 Title I schools, providing paper, pencils, binders and much more to teachers who often pay out of pocket…
