Mother accused of fleeing deputies after son attempts to pull out gun during school fight

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A fight over a video game at a school led to a teen drawing a firearm and a mother being behind bars after attempting to flee law enforcement.

On Wednesday, a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) responded to Coastal Middle and High School, located at 730 5th St., in Lake Park after he had received a phone call about a student having a firearm, an arrest affidavit said.

Investigators learned that two students had gotten into a fight over a video game, which led to one of the students, identified as 18-year-old Anthony Hall, attempting to pull out a firearm.
