PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — One of Palm Beach County’s largest health funders is pouring millions of dollars back into the community this year, with a focus on neighborhoods facing the toughest health and economic challenges.
“It started years ago, where we started planting the seeds of looking at social determinants of health. We go into certain communities and invest in neighborhood led programming that tackle root causes issues,” Shannon Hawkins, Director of Community Engagement for the Quantum Foundation.
