Woman accused of sending 180+ threatening emails to courthouse portal

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A Palm Beach County woman is facing serious accusations after investigators say she sent more than 180 threatening and racially charged emails to the public portal of the county courthouse.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said 48-year-old Lisa Van Dyne was identified as the sender of a series of disturbing messages directed at the Clerkweb system — a public-facing domain used to assist residents with court-related inquiries. The emails sent included explicit threats of violence, racist language, and references to mass execution.

One of the emails allegedly said, “Your attempting to stop me from getting a gun. Every person around me is a target to kill”…
