This week I bring you a feature on Big John’s Eatery that will leave you hungry for red velvet waffles, biscuits and even oxtails.
Big Johns’s, in a plaza near the South Florida Fairgrounds, opened in 2020 and has won a cult-like following for its take on southern soul food and Caribbean dishes. Last month, it won first place at the 2025 People’s Choice Award by the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County.
