Palm Beach crackdown on insurance fraud leads to over 700 citations and warnings

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A multi-agency operation held by local law enforcement cracked down on those driving around committing insurance fraud.

On Thursday, members of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) traffic division, along with the National Insurance Crime Bureau, Florida Department of Financial Services, North Palm Beach Police Department and the Jupiter Police Department, cracked down on drivers in an effort to reduce rising insurance costs.
