Palm Beach County Unveils State-of-the-Art Sheriff’s Office and Marine Unit Facility to Boost Efficiency and Preparedness

Palm Beach County has opened its updated Sheriff’s Office District One and Marine Unit complex. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in September, was attended by County Mayor Maria G. Marino and local law enforcement officials, according to the Palm Beach County government website.

The new facility is designed to improve officer operations and vessel maintenance. It includes an on-site boat testing tank—one of only three between Miami and New Jersey—allowing deputies to save up to four hours per test by avoiding travel to Phil Foster Park.
