WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Schools across Florida are implementing increased patrols on campuses today in response to a violent, threatening email that was sent to superintendents over 40 school districts Tuesday night.
The School District of Palm Beach County sent a letter to parents on Wednesday morning stating that they were one of the districts that received the threat.
“While we do not consider this threat to be credible, we take every single threat seriously,” the school district wrote. “We remain in close coordination with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and local police departments throughout our community to support the safety and security of our campuses.”…
